#1 WAY TO UPGRADE YOUR GARDENS
Flower Planting
ADD COLOR AND FUN
Annual Flower Planting
Annual flowers are flowers that grow throughout the spring, summer and fall, and then die off once winter approaches. These flowers have to be pulled out and the end of each year, and replanted with new flowers each spring.
Having a mix of both annual and perennial flowers in your gardens as allows for seasonal variety, lets you have different accent plants each year, and allows the freedom to change things up and keep your gardens fresh.
Some types of annual flowers are:
- Petunias
- Marigolds
- Begonias
- Impatiens
- Geraniums
- Snapdragons

Perennial flowers and shrubs are plants that go dormant in the winter time and will blossom again in springtime. Trees are a great example of perennials.
Perennials have the benefit of only needed to be planted once. With proper care, they will last a very long time.
Perennials flowers have a higher up front cost, and are also more limited in color and shapes, which may create a limit on what you can achieve from your garden beds.
Some types of perennial flowers are:
- Black-Eyed Susans
- Coneflowers
- Hostas
- Peonies
- Rose Bushes
- Hibiscus

WHAT YOU GET
What Do I Get With My Flower Planting?
Flower planting is more than just digging a hole and plopping the plants in place. Proper prep work will ensure that your plants will not only survive, but thrive.
When our team show up to your home to install your plants they will:
- Dig The Proper Size Hole – We’ll be sure to space to your plants apart so they get adequate sunlight and are not overcrowding each other.
- Add Compost – Adding compost to your soil will bring in organic matter that your plants will love. Strong roots will be formed, and your plants will be able to find and retain water much easier.
- Plant Your Plants – We’ll carefully remove your plants from any packaging and place them into the soil, being sure not to disturb it’s root structure. After your plants are in place, we will fill up the hole with fresh soil.
- Fertilizer – After your plants are in place, we’ll give them a boost of fertilizer to help them adhere to the ground and properly take place.
- Water – Finally, we’ll give them a drink of water.
It is highly recommended that once your plants are installed, to add a fresh layer of mulch to your garden beds. This will help with water retention in your soil and also reduce weeds from sprouting.
