When Should My Bushes Be Trimmed?
This is dependent on the type of bushes you have. Bushes such as yew and boxwoods can be trimmed year round, as long as air temperatures are above freezing.
Other types, such as rose bushes and ornamental grasses, should be trimmed in late winter, or early spring. This is also a great time to trim any bushes that may flower. This will ensure that you won’t trim off any flowers once their buds start to form.
Some bushes may only need trimmed once a year, others will need to be trimmed 2-3 times throughout the growing season.

Prior to starting any work, our crews will do a full safety inspection of the areas that they will be servicing. They’ll be sure to:
- Inspect for any cable or utility wires that might be running through your bushes.
- Check for any falling hazards – especially important when trimming large branches.
- Ensure that there is enough space to move debris from your yard to our trailer (Don’t want to scratch any cars sitting in the driveway!)
After our safety inspection is complete, our team will thoroughly trim and shape all of your bushes. They will be sure to cut out any dead branches, to allow for new growth to fill in.
Once bush trimming is complete, they will do a full clean up of all fallen debris, and haul it away from your property.
